The IEEE Women in Engineering International Scholarship was  established thanks to the support of donations to the IEEE Foundation Women in Engineering (WIE) Fund from IEEE WIE members and others. The scholarship is presented to up to one female IEEE WIE Student Member who has completed two years of undergraduate study in an engineering curriculum at an accredited university or college.

Runxi Wang, IEEE WIE Student Member, is a current senior undergraduate student and an incoming PhD candidate student from University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI) in China. She is a member of iCAS Lab led by Prof. Xinfei Guo. Her research interest is in computer architecture, compute-in-memory, and reconfigurable architecture. She received the Women in Technology Award in 2021, AMD-Xilinx Adaptive Computing Challenge. Her research work received Best Paper Award in Huawei Semiconductor Technology Forum 2022.
