IEEE History Center and WIE Celebrate Women’s History Month

To mark Women’s History Month, join Dr. Mary Ann Hellrigel, Institutional Historian and Archivist at the IEEE History Center, for a talk about the voices of prominent engineers, scientists, and technologists captured and preserved as part of the oral history collections posted on Engineering and Technology History wiki. She will also review the “voices lost,” the life stories not captured and often “hidden” in main-stream history. People discussed will include Mildred Dresselhaus, 2015 IEEE Medal of Honor recipient; Katherine Johnson, 2019 IEEE President’s Award recipient; Martha Sloan, IEEE Life Fellow and 1993 IEEE President (1993), Edith Clarke, AIEE Fellow (1948); and others.
