Panel Discussion: Promoting Diversity and Inclusion for Engineering and Technology Education in Emerging Areas

Loading Events

Abstract:

On the heels of IEEE Education Week, IEEE WIE felt it was important to inspire WIE members to tap into the top technology areas available from IEEE Societies (39) and Councils (8).

WIE has organized this panel of WIE Society Liaisons to leverage their knowledge about the resources and networking opportunities available from Societies/Councils that can enable WIE members to shape their careers and continue their lifelong learning journey. The panel will highlight different platforms, avenues, tools, data, and key takeaways from their Society/Council that will help nurture members’ potential for education in Engineering and Technology. This will help members embrace the resources and networking avenues in IEEE and technical societies/councils to potentially reshape their lives.

IEEE WIE desires to encourage members to continue their lifelong learning to promote diversity and inclusion in education in engineering and technology in emerging areas of IEEE-designated fields.
