Then I had the pleasure attending Perspektywy Women in Tech 2025! With over 10,000 attendees, this global gathering is a powerful reminder of what women in tech can achieve when we come together. I am so proud to be part of this inspiring event, along with our IEEE President-Elect Mary Ellen Randall, IEEE Region 8 Director-Elect Dusanka Boskovic and Region 8 WIE past chair Wafa Ben Hmida. And a huge shoutout to our fantastic hosts from the IEEE Poland Section’s Maciej Borówka, Aleksandra Tuszy, Anna Slian, and R8 WIE’s Larissa Abi Nakhle for their tireless efforts in making IEEE Women in Engineering ‘s presence felt!

We are just a few days away from this year’s IEEE WIE Day. The theme of this year’s WIE Day is “Pioneering Safe Cyberspace: Bridging Technology and Light for Security.”
