The IEEE WIE Industry Experts Network aims to create a global platform that connects industry professionals, researchers, and leaders with IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) members.
This network serves as a valuable resource for IEEE WIE Affinity and Student Branch Affinity Groups, industry partners, and conference organizers to identify and engage expert speakers and consultants, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and opportunities for professional growth and engagement, especially in the context of IEEE WIE events, panels, and industry initiatives.

This network will serve as a valuable resource for IEEE entities, industry partners, and event organizers, enabling them to identify and engage distinguished speakers, mentors, and consultants for IEEE events, panels, and initiatives. It is open to industry professionals with a demonstrated record of expertise and impact in key areas, including but not limited to:

  • Disruptive Technology
  • Telecommunications
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
  • Power and Energy
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • 4th Industrial Revolution

We welcome professionals who are:

  • Current IEEE WIE members.
  • Members of IEEE and IEEE Technical Societies/Councils who are willing to join IEEE WIE upon selection.
  • Have strong expertise in their field and a track record of impactful work.
  • Have experience in public speaking, panel participation, or mentoring.
  • Are actively involved in community-building initiatives, supporting DEI, and advancing engineering.

  • Increased Visibility: Profiled as an expert on IEEE WIE’s global platform, accessible to IEEE event organizers and industry partners.
  • Speaking and Engagement Opportunities: Invitation to participate in IEEE WIE-hosted webinars, panels, and workshops.
