CIS-IEEE National Engineers Children’s Day Saturday, February 24, 2024 10:00 am – 3:00 pm The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis (http://www.cis-ieee.org/engineersday/volunteer.asp) National Engineers Week will be celebrated from February 18-24, 2024. This year’s theme – Welcome to the Future! – is about celebrating today’s achievements and paving the way for a brighter and more diverse future in engineering. Engineers Day at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10:00 – 3:00. Volunteers are needed to interact with guests and get children excited about Engineering as a career choice. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the Museum to help guests perform simple activities that apply basic engineering principles as well as talk about engineering and answer any questions children may have. If your employer conducts a background as a requirment for employment, then a letter from your HR indicating that can be used.
