Dear Members,

To begin my last message of the year, I want to thank all of the IEEE Women in Engineering Committee members and volunteers in every Affinity Group that with their efforts, made an impact for all the members and humanity: you are all Rock Stars!  What a year we are closing!  We have our first appointed Treasurer, our first elected Chair, an outstanding WIE International Leadership Conference, versions of the International Leadership Summits in different corners of the world, an award-winning magazine, and so much more to celebrate together.  We still have another year to keep making the difference!

Join us to celebrate this great achievement as we are now a community of almost 31,000 members with more than 1,000 Affinity Groups!  Thank you all for believing in our mission and vision and for consuming the content all the volunteers around the globe put together at your service.  Also, celebrate yourselves for nurturing your personal and professional growth!  By being a part of an organization like this one, is a tremendous step in that direction.

I would also like to invite you to join us in our first Awards Ceremony taking place on 14 December 2021.  You will have the opportunity to celebrate and get to know our awardees, we will be launching the activities to celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2022, and I will have the pleasure to share the report of our activities during 2021 and showcase the amazing work our committee members are doing.  Find further details in this Newsletter.

With this, I introduce you to my guest for this newsletter: Mini Ulanat.  She is a voting member of the WIE Committee and the Chair of the WIE Awards Subcommittee that has been leading the activities of our upcoming awards ceremony.
