Ms. Min Chen is the founder, CEO and Principal Consultant of Alcenit Corporation that provides consulting and training services in IT management, innovation and software engineering for government, private sector, and academia. Among her firm’s clients are the leading companies and most influential government institutions in Panama. She has been invited to present at conferences in the United States and several countries in Latin America.
She earned the Master of Software Engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University, the Innovation Management certificate degree from the University of California at Berkeley – Haas School of Business, and the Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Panama. She has been the recipient of multiple scholarships such as Fulbright, BARSA, IFARHU y SENACYT.
Ms. Chen is the Chair of the Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group in Panama and senior member of IEEE. In addition, Ms. Chen is the first Panamanian to be invited to the IEEE Latin America Distinguished Visitors Program.
She has been a contributor to publications and articles in English and Spanish about IT Management, software engineering and entrepreneurship. Ms. Chen has also been interviewed for articles published by The Economist, Financial Capital, and The Star of Panama.
