IEEE Egypt EDS/WIE Educational Day Forum in Technological Advances and Sustainable Future organized The 1st IEEE WOMEN in ELECTRON DEVICES & Embedded Technology (WiED’2023)” on Wednesday 17th May 2023 “On the occasion of International Education Day”. It was a resounding success. More than 110 participants joined the WiED’2023.
The IEEE WIE WiED’2023 event was a bright opportunity to give the university students, youth, pre-university level, and STEM students, awareness and the latest practical free training in Robotics, Embedded Technology, Embedded Programming, Bluetooth & WiFi Connection Control Boards System Visibility and IoT Applications, and provide them the chance to show their success and share it with the world.
Prof. Sherin Youssef – the Chair of IEEE WIE Egypt Section – says: “We envision motivating girls and women to pursue a career in t from a young age. Dedicated to providing resources and programs to inspire and promote women to follow their Academic interests. Through our great Empowering Training & mentorship Sessions we witnessed “Passion – Agility – Perseverance – willing to learn”

This event was organized by IEEE WIE Egypt in Cooperation with IEEE EDS Society – Hosted at Arab Academy for Science and Technology – Main Campus – Alexandria.
The Chair of IEEE WIE Egypt, Prof. Sherin Youssef, says, “Empowering young women and girls and juniors of Pre-university level and STEM students is one of our main goals in the fields of Robotics, Smart Solutions, Embedded Technology, Embedded Programming, System Visibility, and IoT Applications, and to providing them the chance for practice and practical skills mentoring.”
