All that you need to know about WIEHACK 4.0 WIEHack4.0- 36 hour Women-Centric Hybrid International Hackathon https://wiehack.bvpieee.in/ WIEHACK is the flagship event of BVPIEEE, The IEEE Student Branch of BVCOE, New Delhi. Planned to be for 36 hours consecutively, with the goal of providing the participants with more time for ideation, implementation, and refinement, while reducing stress and fatigue. It will also be a great opportunity for networking and will provide ample time for debugging and testing. Women In Engineering, a segment that needs more representation in the engineering community, have always observed an unfavorable gender ratio. Addressing this issue, the eligibility criteria for forming a team for this event is that at least 50% of the team members must be women. Thus being Women-centric, to encourage participation. Being organized in the legacy of the previous iteration, which received international participation and thus will feature both online as well as offline participation for accessibility, hence it is hybrid. Note: – There are only selected slots for the offline mode of hackathon. – It is totally based on first come first serve. All the other participants can join via online mode. – At least 50% of the team members must be women.
