Come join Atlanta WIE and teach cool science experiments to the girls at the Girl Scouts STEM Expo! We’ll be demonstrating several science experiments for the Girls Scouts and their families, and each activity will have an interactive component for them to participate in. Our tables will be inside a covered area near a large roll-up door, and COVID protocols will be followed (masks are recommended). The event will include two opportunties (morning and afternoon) to hear from their keynote speaker, retired astronaut Dr. Jan Davis. We’ll have coffee, water, and snacks for volunteers throughout the day, and lunch will be provided. And the Girl Scouts will provide a free box of cookies to all volunteers!
