About Melania

Melania Miranda is from Argentina, Buenos Aires. She is a final year student studying Engineering in Information Systems at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Facultad Regional Buenos Aires (UTN FRBA). She is a member of the UTN FRBA IEEE Student Branch, and is currently working as a project leader at the Tinta Fresca Publishing House, a company of Clarín Group. She loves programming, software development and animals.

About the winning photo 

Pictured in the photo is Victoria García. She is a final year Electronic Engineering student at UTN FRBA, currently working as an Assistant Teacher and also as a Technical Analyst. In 2018, she became an IEEE and WIE Student Member and met fabulous people willing to inspire girls to pursue technology related fields. She later became Chair of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Student Branch Chapter at UTN FRBA.
