Salome Enoshi Uwah
Founding Chair, IEEE WIE Affinity Group, University of Greater Manchester

Salome Enoshi Uwah is a Research Assistant and emerging AI researcher at the Centre of Intelligence of Things, University of Greater Manchester, advocating for responsible, inclusive, and human-centred technology. She is concluding a Master of Research in Artificial Intelligence, with work spanning AI, health, ethics, and real-world societal impact. A strong IEEE leader, she pioneered the formation of the university’s Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group and now the IEEE Student Branch Chair (2025/2026). Her research has been accepted at leading international IEEE and AI conferences, including 1EEE WIE ILS London, ICRITO, ICATEST, AI Global Summit, and ICTBIG. Through her Research Students Help Desk, she mentors 146 postgraduate researchers, bridging academia, leadership, and community impact with a philosophy that technology must serve humanity.

Dr. P A Harsha Vardhini is a dedicated IEEE leader and passionate volunteer committed to empowering students, fostering innovation, and advancing the mission of IEEE. With a strong background in engineering and a deep interest in emerging technologies, she actively leads initiatives that promote professional development, inclusivity, and community engagement. Known for her initiative-driven mindset and collaborative spirit, she continues to inspire others to grow, lead, and create meaningful change.

Shashika Lokuliyana
Treasurer, IEEE WIE Affinity Group of Sri Lanka

Shashika Lokuliyana is a Senior Lecturer at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), with over 14 years of academic and industry experience in the fields of computing, engineering, and technology education. She is deeply passionate about empowering women through STEM and has been an active contributor to the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) community for many years.

Throughout her journey with the IEEE WIE Sri Lanka Affinity Group, Shashika has served in multiple leadership capacities, including Volunteer, Executive Committee Member, Secretary, and Treasurer. Her strong commitment to advancing gender equity in technology, coupled with her ability to inspire and mobilize diverse teams, has enabled her to thrive in these leadership roles and make a meaningful impact within the IEEE community.

Recognized for her dedication, professionalism, and unwavering enthusiasm for WIE initiatives, Shashika continues to champion opportunities that encourage and uplift women in engineering, research, and innovation. Her work reflects a lasting commitment to fostering inclusive, forward-thinking STEM ecosystems in Sri Lanka and beyond.

Dr. Harivardhagini Subhadra, WIE Affinity Group Representative, IEEE Region 10. Harivardhagini, professor and head of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at CVR College of Engineering, Telangana, India, is a distinguished academician and innovator. With over 20 years of experience, she has advanced research, teaching, and entrepreneurship, making significant contributions to engineering education and innovation.
