Through an engaging fireside chat, this event brings together visionary leaders from diverse regions to share insights on bridging geographical and cultural gaps, fostering inclusive leadership, and driving impactful initiatives. Attendees will gain practical strategies for strengthening regional connections, empowering emerging leaders, and creating a unified WIE network that thrives on synergy. Join us as we ignite dialogue, inspire action, and lay the foundation for a series dedicated to shaping the future of women in engineering worldwide.

Panelists:

Valeri Paul, San Diego IEEE WIE Chair, IEEE Region 6. Valeri is a consultant and SD IEEE WIE Chair with experience in academia and more.

Christine Gerveshi, Secretary, Lehigh Valley WIE, IEEE Region 2. Christine earned a PhD in EE from Imperial College, London. She was discovered a passion for chip design which spanned 35+ years, from Bell Labs to Intel. She is now retired, a “Monday Granny”, and passionate about increasing and retaining the number of women who enter EE careers.

Moderator: Dr. Harivardhagini Subhadra, WIE Affinity Group Representative, IEEE Region 10. Harivardhagini, professor and head of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at CVR College of Engineering, Telangana, India, is a distinguished academician and innovator. With over 20 years of experience, she has advanced research, teaching, and entrepreneurship, making significant contributions to engineering education and innovation.
