By integrating reskilling and translational research, one can certainly forge ahead to develop groundbreaking solutions and drive toward sustainable success. Dr. Kalapriya Kannan, Principal Architect, Intuit

Kalapriya Kannan is a Principal Architect at Intuit India, leading AI modernization efforts with a focus on Generative AI. With a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from IISc Bangalore, she has extensive expertise in AI, data analytics, and enterprise automation. Previously, she held key roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprises and IBM Research, contributing to AI fairness and cloud data services. A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including the Intuit Technical Excellence Award 2024, she has 65 granted patents and 45 published technical papers. Dr. Kannan is also actively involved in academia and international conferences as a speaker and reviewer.

Dr. Ramya S Moorthy, Founder Director, Nimaya Technologies

Dr. Ramya S. Moorthy, Founder Director of Nimaya Innovations Pvt. Ltd., has dedicated a decade to supporting children with special needs. Her Chennai-based company leverages robotics to improve psychomotor and cognitive skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disabilities. Dr. Ramya developed Suprayoga, an IoT-based cloud-monitored training system that boosts learning rates by over 60% for children with ASD. Inspired by a child’s progress, she founded Nimaya to help others achieve independent living. Despite personal setbacks, including a fire that devastated her work, Dr. Ramya persevered, transforming her vision into reality.
She has received accolades like the Devi Awards 2023 and Women Transforming India Award 2021. Dr. Ramya also teaches at Manipal Institute of Technology to advance mechatronics research. Through initiatives like Suprayoga and GITA milestones, Nimaya is creating life-changing impacts, staying true to its Sanskrit name, meaning “to create change.”
