Fostering Impactful Industry Academia Collaborations: The Journey of SODA ABR Algorithm
In this talk, we will present a recently published work, in collaboration with UMass Amherst and Caltech, on developing a performant Adaptive Bitrate algorithm called SODA which delivers high quality of experience while providing performance guarantees. We will also delve in to the backstory behind this collaboration and finally, touch upon how academics and students can engage with Prime Video Science through collaborations and other open opportunities.
