Join IEEE Atlanta WIE as we commemorate IEEE's 140th anniversary at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History on Thursday October 10th from 6:30 – 9pm. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar will be available as we celebrate our rich history and inspiring future!
Together with partners like the Atlanta Science Festival, Burns & McDonnell, and community leaders we’ve impacted, we will share IEEE-Atlanta's successes and stories that have shaped our journey. The night will include a toast to our achievements, special recognitions, and a few surprises to help mark this milestone. Stay after the event to stroll through the museum's (https://www.fernbankmuseum.org/experiences/exhibits/#IndoorExhibits) – from dinosaurs to animals to pottery – event attendees will have access to the museum until 11pm.
Register here and Atlanta WIE will subsidize WIE member's attendance. Tickets are available for $5 (instead of $25) for WIE members, and $15 (instead of $40) for non-IEEE members who belong to companion women in STEM groups. Atlanta WIE will have a strong presence at this event, so come help us celebrate IEEE Atlanta – and IEEE Atlanta WIE's – many accomplishments!
