Antenna Array Beamforming Technique using E-MIMO

Loading Events

E-MIMO is a methodology developed by our laboratory for calculating the maximum efficiency of MIMO systems. Previous reports have established that the optimal excitation voltage derived from E-MIMO can be applied to beamforming. In this lecture, we will initially introduce the E-MIMO approach, followed by demonstrations of several applications utilizing E-MIMO for antenna array beamforming. Lastly, a comparative analysis will be conducted, examining the excitation voltages and radiation patterns obtained through the Array Factor (AF) method, the retrodirective control method, and the E-MIMO method. The distinctions between these methods will be elucidated. Speaker(s): Qiaowei YUAN Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, 710071
