Dr. Mini Ulanat, Systems Manager of Cochin University of Science & Technology, is a technology leader for more than 3 decades of experience in Information Management with a doctorate in Computer Science. Her areas of interests are Information Security, Information Retrieval, Ontology and SNA. Her association with IEEE started during her undergraduate student days. Professionally she is active and engaged in many ways and has held key technology and executive management leadership positions in other professional organizations also. She was the organizing chair of WIE-ILS-Kochi 2018. Dr. Ulanat has many awards and accolades to her credit. She was a Chevening Fellow in CyberSecurity and Information assurance at Defence Academy, U.K. She was a Fulbright scholar at Virginia Tech. She has received CICC Scholarship,Japan. An information scientist by profession,networker of grassroots and formal knowledge by passion, she is a leader and an equity activist in her community, who enjoys working with diverse group of people at organizations which are inclusive and innovative. She is a huge fan of travel and the outdoors.
